
You're not really supposed to max it before finishing eldritch, requiring you to finish eldritch and play A LOT of it to earn all inventions and maximize them. Personally, I went for the shuffle first then the extra starting perk (most expensive invention by far), a few teleports, and tried to get extra perks at the beggining, ignoring everything else. or some exploit/bug that allowed some people to farm them much more than they should (and was already fixed, I hear). Ive just beaten the Elder Polyp on Aether on my second try, and then once again for good measure. Normal plane felt noticeably harder, perhaps because not all weapons/perks/abilities were opened. Activate the Wardenclyffe and save the world in Aether Plane.
